Shortlets 
With many enquiries for temporary housing needs due to relocation, in between house purchases, insurance claims, property renovations, seasonal rentals or other needs, we actively promote monthly shortlets for durations less than six months during out of season periods for our vacation home owners as well as for owners of properties that would otherwise be empty, perhaps not selling, thinking of selling, or for owners not wishing to commit to long term renting, or second homeowners not wanting the increased wear and tear that’s only natural with the higher turnover of holiday rentals 
 
Additional services 
Homeowner Insurance 
Standard household insurance generally will not provide full and adequate cover for holiday or shortlet properties. Guests these days demand well equipped homes and such items can be expensive. You must inform your insurance agent that you intend to holiday let/shortlet the property and ensure that you have adequate insurance for buildings and contents. 
 
Public Liability Insurance 
You also need public liability insurance in case a guest has an accident in the property. It is advisable though not mandatory to cover against loss of income just in case you have to cancel any bookings due to urgent repairs.
