About Dubai

Dubai is hot – and we’re not just talking temperature. This city has transitioned from a humble pearl-diving settlement to a premium world destination in under two decades – and continues to evolve at an alarming rate. It’s as if Dubai is out to beat every world record. Visit the Dubai Mall (the world’s largest), Burj Al Arab (the world’s only 7-star hotel) and the Burj Khalifa (the world’s tallest building) – which contains the world’s highest restaurant!

Start your day Downtown and marvel at the scale of the Burj Khalifa. After shopping and refreshments at the Dubai Mall, head to the man-made Palm Jumeirah Island. For a glimpse of the city behind the postcard-perfect sheen of Downtown, visit the traditional souks and winding alleys of Deira and Bur Dubai.

Destination Dubai

If you’re looking for a vacation rental destination with year-round sunshine, blue skies and warm seas, Dubai is your ideal choice. December and March see midday temperatures in the mid-twenties (Centigrade) and are favoured by many visitors.

Escape the mundane in a Dubai vacation home rental!

Combining new with the old, modern with the traditional, azure /turquoise waters of the Arabian Gulf and the golden rolling desert sand dunes, Dubai is a veritable feast for the senses. Shop in the comfort of air-conditioned shopping malls or the hustle and bustle of the souks trading gold, spice and silk. Basque in the golden sunshine or ski in the snow, play in a water park or pose by the pool. This luxury destination provides all this and so much more and from the comfort of the highest quality self-catering apartments and holiday villas. It’s why so many of our escapologists book with us time and time again.

The Palm Jumeirah

Described as the ‘Eighth Wonder of the World” this iconic man-made palm tree-shaped island sits off the Jumeirah coastline and is so large it can be seen from space. A truly unique leisure resort /destination that you simply have to experience to appreciate.

Comprising The Trunk, The Fronds and The Crescent, The Palm Jumeirah is home to a number of lucky residents, some of whom are happy for you to be their guest in order for you to experience luxury living first hand and with luxury hotels, restaurants, cafes, shops, beaches, marinas and waterparks to explore you may not even want to get off the Island.

The Trunk is a two-kilometre long luxury living, retail and tourism destination with Palm vacation rental apartments situated along its length.  On the seventeen Fronds are the exquisite beachfront holiday villas and along The Crescent that surrounds the Island, you’ll find world-leading hotel resorts such as Atlantis and vacation rentals.

Beyond The Palm there is, even more, to see and do for all ages and abilities; desert safaris, sandboarding, cruises and helicopter rides to name a few.  So many shopping malls – it’s hard to choose you’re favourite.  Dubai Marina and Marina Walk, The Old Town and Dubai Creek. The list is endless!

A world-class destination like this is never going to be cheap, and with only a limited number of Dubai self-catering apartments and holiday villas, demand certainly outstrips supply as self-catering in Dubai does make it a little more cost-effective and gives you so much more space and freedom from which to experience the best that Dubai has to offer.
